2ndKorea-Turkey Friendship Go and Janggi Tournaments

As part of the celebrations of the Korean New Year, Korea-Turkey Friendship Go and Janggi Tournaments will be held among other activities on the 21st of January. The Turk-Korea Culture Exchange Association in collaboration with KOWIN has been planning an event comprised of various activities mainly focused on the Korean Culture on Saturday the 21st of January to celebrate the Korean New Year which starts on the 21st of January.

We would like to kindly urge you to help the organization teams by preregistering for the events via the form on the activity page. Preregistration deadline is the 11th of January. Details and the latest updates can be found on the activity page please check back often as details are still being established.

11th International Istanbul Go Open has Ended
25 September 2011

The Eleventh of Istanbul Go Tournaments, one of Turkey's major tournaments which has been held in September or October since 2001 took place September 24 thru 25 as an international event. The tournament is part of the European Go Cup. Click on link to view the tournament result and player placings. Many thanks to all participants.

As of March 3, 2011 we are meeting at deep on Thursdays and Sundays. The venue is open to go players on other days until eight p.m.

After getting to Taksim Square. Walk down Istiklal Street towards Galatasaray. Turn right after the French Embassy (Zambak Sokak). Turn left at the junction you will see the deep restaurant logo on the right corner. We are usually on the second floor of the next building (between deep restaurant and zencefil).
